There are people who are interested in the CILA residential program and need minimum support. Some wish to live on their own and others with a roommate. The CILA staff works with these residential program participants to find the appropriate apartments and arrangements.
Once the correct situation is secured, a plan is developed for the appropriate support assistance the resident requires, which may include daily living skills such as independent use of public transportation.
Many of the 24/7 CILA residents have the desire to live with intermittent support. Staff and the resident work together to reach the goal of the resident living on his/her own or with a roommate.
When residents are ready to live with only intermittent support, we assist them in developing their own service plans and choosing an apartment in one of the neighboring communities.
