[ZION, IL] – Recently, NorthPointe Resources discussed the possibility of a furniture donation program with the Penny Mustard Furnishings store in Lincolnshire. NorthPointe Resources is continuously in need of high quality, very gently used home furnishings for their community homes located throughout Lake County where people with disabilities live. Penny Mustard believes in community involvement and social responsibility and a partnership was formed. Now Penny Mustard customers purchasing new furnishings are referred to NorthPointe to donate their used furniture.
Customers are delighted to know that they have a resource to donate their furniture so that NorthPointe residents can enjoy it for years to come. Penny Mustard is pleased to support NorthPointe and to have the opportunity to provide a positive impact in the local community. Everyone involved recognizes the important impact re-purposing and re-use has on the environment.
“Partnering with NorthPointe was an easy decision for us. Their roots in family dovetail beautifully with the values and mission of Penny Mustard and our customers who delight in knowing that their gently-used furniture will continue to be enjoyed,” said David Granoff, General Manager at Penny Mustard Furnishings.
“We want to thank David Granoff and Penny Mustard Furnishings for their support of NorthPointe Resources. The community homes where people with disabilities live are being refurnished with sofas, chairs and tables that are in very good condition and make the homes warm and inviting,” said Kristen Hudrick, VP of Residential Services at NorthPointe Resources.
