Navy Recognition Luncheon

On October 16, 2004 Colleen Babington, Co-Executive Director presented the Navy with a Certificate of Appreciation Award. Captain Michael H. Anderson, Commanding Officer, Naval Hospital, Great Lakes accepted the award, who in turn presented it to Rear Admiral Ann Rondeau, Navy Regional Commander, Midwest.
From January to October 2004 the Navy has volunteered over 28,000 man hours with more then 175 personnel and family members from the Navy Band, Naval Hospital, Naval Hospital Corps School, Naval Reserve Center, Naval Station Great Lakes and the Recruit Training Command. Over the ten months the Navy has saved Northpointe in excess of $476,000.00 and has completed over 23 various projects throughout Northpointe’s Killian Center and CILA homes. Some of these projects included compressor installation, concrete pads, pavilion construction, Prego floors and security lighting.
Northpointe is truly grateful to the many volunteers from the Navy who have dedicated their time and skills to improve the safety and quality of life for the men and women we serve.
