2009 Holiday Hearts Annual Appeal

Give-a-Gift - Purchase a gift for one of our individual’s using their personal wish list. To assure that all are treated equally, we ask that each holiday gift be valued at $25. All gifts must be in a gift bag and delivered to NorthPointe no later than December 11, 2009.

Gift Card - $25 gift card empowers individuals and affords them the opportunity to make choices. This option enhances the enjoyment of your gift. Suggested gift cards are: Master Card, Visa or American Express. Some suggested categories are: clothing, food or entertainment.

Activity and Program Supporter

Give the gift of celebration - Everyone loves a party and our individuals enjoy celebrating different holidays all year long. Your donation can help us continue to provide social gatherings. Giving a cash donation helps defer the cost of holiday and other parties for our men and women all year long.

Give the gift of well-being - Because of inadequate State reimbursements, we must subsidize programs and services that are essential for the health and well-being of all the individuals we serve. Therefore, we must ask for financial support from people such as you as well as corporations and foundations. For some this may be the only gift they receive all year. Every dollar contributed makes a difference in someone’s life, for example:

• $25 gift helps finance travel expenses for eight individuals on a weekend outing.

• $50 gift helps subsidize a nutritious meal for one person for a month.

• $100 gift supports vocational services to one person for a week.
• $250 gift helps to fund clothing and personal care needs for a person bimonthly.

• $500 gift helps fund employment training for one person for a whole year.

• $1,000 gift helps subsidize medical care for one person for a whole year.

Volunteer Opportunities - Giving time, the most precious gift. We understand that different people have different demands with their time. Because we are sensitive to your busy schedule, we have different types of volunteer opportunities for individuals, groups and organizations.
