     2011 Holiday Hearts Gift Giving

Make someone feel special–for some, this is the only gift they will receive during the year.

• Give-a-Gift: You can give a gift(s)* to be opened at our Annual Holiday Hearts Party by purchasing a gift from an individual’s personal wish list.
• Dual Gift Giver: Many individuals do not have a family with whom to spend the holidays. A “Dual Gift Giver” purchases two gifts; the recipient will have the joy of opening a gift at the holiday party and one on Christmas morning.*

  *To ensure that everyone is treated equally, we ask that each individuals holiday gift be valued at approximately $25.00.

  OR- A gift of $25 Gift Cards allows individuals to choose an item(s) they will enjoy. Gift cards suggested include: • Visa • K-Mart • Target
  • Piggly Wiggly • Jewel • Culvers • McDonalds • Wendy’s • Wal-Mart
   

• Gift Giving Procedure: Individuals' wish lists will be available on November 1st, 2011. After your gift(s) request is received, per your directions we will e-mail, fax or mail a “personal wish list” with the name(s) and three gift ideas. Please place each individual’s gift(s) in a gift bag and write the individual’s name and code number on the bag(s).

Give the gift of celebration

As we approach the holiday season, we are seeking sponsors for Holiday Hearts to underwrite costs.*
On December 16, 2011, over 400 individuals will be enjoying a party with all the trimmings and holiday spirit—music, dancing, food, socializing and of course, gifts. For many of our individuals, this is the only holiday celebration they will attend.

The 2011 Sponsorship Levels are:

• Holiday Hearts Naming Sponsor–$2,000: Your company name will appear prominently on all communications as the sponsor: “your logo here” Presents: Holiday Hearts, 2011 in e-blasts for Thanksgiving, the holidays, newsletter, signage, and web site.
  NOTE: Confirmed pledge must be received by November 11th, 2011.
• Tree Trimming Sponsor–$1,250: Recognition in the newsletter, signage and web site.
• Ornament Sponsor–$750: Recognition on the party signage, web site and newsletter.
• Snowflake Sponsor–$500: Recognition on the web site and in the newsletter.
• Mistletoe Sponsor–$250: Recognition on the party signage and in newsletter.
• Candy Cane Sponsor–$100 and under: Recognition in the newsletter.

  *Additional contributions raised will be allocated for consumers parties, programs and activities throughout the year.

3Program Supporter

Give the gift that keeps giving all year long

Because of inadequate state reimbursements, we are seeking financial support to help subsidize essential programs/services. Every contribution makes a difference:

• $25 gift helps finance travel expenses for eight on a weekend outing.
• $50 gift helps subsidize a nutritious meal for one individual for an entire month.
• $100 gift supports vocational services for one individual for an entire week.
• $500 gift helps fund employment training for one individual for an entire year.
• $1,000 gift helps subsidize medical care for one individual for an entire year.

• Holiday Hearts Party: 20 volunteers are needed to help distribute gifts during the party.
• Holiday Decorating: Decorate a Community Integrated Living Arrangements (CILA) home.
• Volunteering year-round: We have many volunteer projects offering flexible hours to fit your schedule.
